Profile of Role The Senior Procurement Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the effective flow of materials through a complex supply chain. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage stock availability, support New Product Development (NPD), mitigate supply risks and maintain excellent service levels. This role requires strong analytical capability, proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable working under pressure, able to prioritise competing demands and take ownership of issues through to resolution. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure clear communication and on-time, in-full delivery
• Coordinate procurement activity across multiple product lines, maintaining a holistic overview of orders and priorities
• Monitor stock levels and demand trends to minimise out-of-stock risk while optimising working capital
• Support New Product Development activity, including fast-track product launches, by coordinating procurement timelines and stakeholder inputs
• Identify and manage supply chain risks, escalating issues early and proposing effective mitigation actions
• Monitor costs of goods and supplier delivery performance, highlighting discrepancies and improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate records within ERP and forecasting systems, reconciling supplier documentation and internal reports
• Work cross-functionally with planning, NPD, quality, marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement controls, efficiency and best practice
• Provide support to the wider procurement team, including administrative duties, coordination, knowledge sharing and cover as required
Personal Specification Essential Criteria
• Experience in a procurement, supply chain, logistics or FMCG coordination role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines • Proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement
Desirable Criteria
• Experience using ERP or stock forecasting systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Anaplan)
• Experience supporting New Product Development activity • Project management exposure or training • Experience working with international suppliers
