Job Title: Administrator Department: Insurance Management Reporting to: Manager, Insurance Management Last Date of Review: May 2023

Key Responsibilities The insurance team provide financial reporting, regulatory compliance and programme management services to existing and prospective branch operations and insurance and reinsurance companies. The role is to administer and assist the other team members in the delivery of insurance management services to BWCI Group clients to the standards set by BWCI Insurance Management Limited

The duties will relate to the administration of insurance branch operations and insurance companies and will include but not be limited to:

 Assisting in the reviewing and preparation of, compliance manuals and business risk assessments

 Assist with the preparation of the Insurance Managers report  Carry out client AML CDD reviews, prepare report of findings and provide review and

oversight to ins admin staff reviews  Preparing and/or assisting with the submission of annual regulatory returns  Preparing papers for board meeting  Processing matters arising from board meetings  Processing and authorisation of surrenders and claims payments  Liaison with service providers e.g. banks  Bank reconciliations and payment authorisations  Liaison with the BWCI Compliance Team  Regular review of client’s policies and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements

are being met.  Review client’s quarterly management information in line with the requirements of the

General Representative.  Ensure books and records are kept up to date.  Other adhoc duties as may sometimes be requested

Qualifications and Experience

 Minimum grade B Maths/English GCSE is essential, A – Levels desirable but not essential

 Previous Administration experience is advantageous but not essential  Working knowledge of Excel and Word  Full training will be given  There will be the opportunity to study for a professional qualification if desired

The ideal candidate would be able to:-  Demonstrate competent numerical skills  Provide evidence of accuracy  Demonstrate good organisation skills  Be able to meet deadlines
