Role Profile

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst to join our Market Regulation team. Reporting to the Manager - Market Investigations this role is within the Market Regulation team and will be focused on supporting all aspects of the Exchange’s market surveillance and enhanced market monitoring activities, investigations, supervisory and enforcement recommendations related to market participants as well as the handling of intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to work in capital markets for a locally-based company with truly international ambitions.

Duties and Responsibilities • Support in all aspects of market supervision and investigations;

• Support market monitoring, analysis and surveillance activities and the continuous improvement

of related policies, procedures and controls

• Support the management of Active Cases, Watchlist issuers/members and relevant Notable

Events;

• Support the management of all matters escalated by market operations;

• Assist, and provide absence cover for, the management of all automated price movement

exception reporting as well as the manual review of Nova’s order book for price exceptions;

• Engage with Trading & Listing Members and ensure relationships are built and maintained;

• Provide and help develop management information;

• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Exchange’s rules, particularly those around code

of conduct, supervision and enforcement;

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and legal frameworks for market

participants, particularly as they apply to market abuse and other financial crime obligations;

• Undertake continual personal development to ensure that knowledge of relevant legal and

regulatory matters is maintained;

• Assist with the management and delivery of any board approved trading and/or data services;

• Prepare accurate data and reports for senior management, the LMC, Board/s or Risk Committee

as required;

• Engage with, other regulators and agencies in relation to intelligence sharing and ensure

relationships are maintained;

• Assist with ad hoc projects as requested by the Board.

Qualifications

• Relevant ICA or CISI qualification;

• Relevant industry experience.
