We are working with a leading private equity business on island that's seeking to onboard a Trainee Fund Accountant to their busy Guernsey office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Fund Accounting, as Trainee or Part Qualified Accountant you will be undertaking bookkeeping and fund accounting for a portfolio of fund related firms, Limited Partnerships (LPs) and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

Responsibilities: 

• Executing bookkeeping and accounting for various fund structures on a day to day basis along with assisting Head of Accounting/Managing Director in implementing process improvements
• Acting as a point of contact for the firm on accounting queries, assisting the administration team when needed to ensure investor queries are responded to appropriately
• Ensuring that all internal reporting, filing and regulatory deadlines are met
• Compiling monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packs for all entities for review management

You will be someone who is working towards your professional accountancy qualifications and has outstanding organisation, prioritisation and communication skills.
