A leading financial services business is seeking a proactive Temporary Legal Secretary/Risk Assistant to provide high-level administrative and governance support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) on a temporary 6-month contract.
The role focuses on ensuring the Risk Function operates efficiently and effectively, with opportunities to improve processes, manage governance, and support key initiatives in a confidential and professional environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Streamlining administration within the Risk Function, maintaining SharePoint, improving document control, and version management.
- Planning and coordinating activities, including managing the Annual Planner, key milestones, and task dependencies.
- Supporting governance and meetings, including diary and inbox management, agenda preparation, minute-taking, report collation, and action tracking.
- Acting as gatekeeper for the CRO, preparing briefing notes, supporting presentations, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive and discreet professional with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be confident, calm under pressure, an excellent communicator, and able to work autonomously while supporting senior executives. Experience in financial or professional services is preferred.
