People Business Partner - Fixed Term Contract - Guernsey
We have an excellent opportunity for a People Business Partner to join our team for an 18 month contract. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting a range of people activities across multiple jurisdictions. It offers a fantastic development opportunity for someone already operating at Senior Advisor level or beginning to step into a Business Partner role, who is ready to grow further in a professional and fast-paced environment.

Job Accountabilities:
- You will support the delivery of high quality, consistent and commercially focused People advice across the colleague lifecycle. You will work with managers to provide guidance on recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, ER, reward, engagement and wellbeing.
- You will contribute to local and group-wide People initiatives, helping to build engagement, improve ways of working and embed our values into day-to-day practice. You will also help to navigate the complexities of working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.
- Alongside your people expertise, you will be confident using systems to support and enhance the way we work. You will know how to use technology to drive efficiencies, streamline processes and unlock better ways of delivering support at scale.
- This is a true generalist role; varied, busy, and rewarding. You will need strong foundations in HR, a pragmatic mindset and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.
Minimum education and experience
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
Required skills
- A confident HR generalist with strong core knowledge across key people practices
- System savvy with the ability to confidently navigate HR systems, exploit functionality and improve efficiency through smarter working
- Proactive, professional and solutions focused; someone who follows things through
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and working at pace
- Resilient and adaptable, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiar with multi-jurisdictional working or keen to grow in this space
- Commercially aware and able to apply sound judgment in real-world situations
