Customer Service Executive, Personal & Premium Banking

We are looking for a new member of the Client Service team who will provide assistance for dealing with our clients daily banking requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with day-to-day client service.
• Receiving instructions (payments, security trades, foreign exchanges, Fixed deposits and corporate actions) from clients and carrying these out.
• Communicating with clients to resolve queries, carrying out call backs and arranging online banking activations.
• Providing assistance to other team members during busy times
• Identifying opportunities to cross and up sell the banks products and services, and work with Relationship Managers to convert these leads
• Being aware of, and actively contributing towards the bank’s financial targets and the revenue of your clients.
• Assisting with projects and large-scale system tasks that may arise.
• Ensuring that all relevant and current rules, regulations and Bank policies are adhered to in respect of your clients.

Talent Acquisition Officer - Guernsey

We are looking for a new member of the HR team who will be responsible for all resourcing requirements across Butterfield CI and UK, working closely with the cross-jurisdictional HR Team.

 Your responsibilities will include:

• To be responsible for working closely with the business to manage recruitment across our CI and UK offices.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
• Manage the recruitment process including agency liaison, conducting interviews, short-listing and the selection of candidates.
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
• Organise recruitment/careers events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
• Responsibility of managing all recruitment effectively through the Recruitment module on SuccessFactors.
• Building and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders and external parties/suppliers.
• Assist the Head of HR and Senior HR Business Partner with providing advice and guidance to management on resourcing matters.
• Responsible for running the suite of Butterfield Talent Programmes. 
• Involvement in Learning and Development initiatives and be responsible for administration and monitoring of internal and external training.
• Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment.
• Responsibility for adhering to SOX guidelines and responding pro-actively to SOX related queries and audit requests.
• HR projects as and when required. 
• To provide support and cover for the administration of employee on-boarding and off-boarding procedures
• Provide support and cover for initial first day induction training to all new employees
• Oversee the management of employee workspaces, ensuring data is retained correctly and all employee documents are saved according to GDPR procedures.

Your qualifications and skills:

• Up to three years’ experience in a talent acquisition or similar role.
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
• Advanced administration skills, with a high degree of numeracy and literacy.
• Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong personal organisation and time management skills.
• High degree of discretion and ability to preserve absolute confidentiality.

Human Resources Administrator – Guernsey OR Jersey

We are looking for a new member of the HR team who will undertake administrative duties to support policies, procedures and practices for all employees of the Butterfield Channel Islands and UK Group. This role could be based in Guernsey or Jersey.

 Your responsibilities will include:

• Administration of employee on-boarding and off-boarding procedures, including current employee changes (i.e., promotions, change to hours/salary, transfers and parental leave).
• Administration of benefit programmes and holiday schemes for CI and UK employees.
• Involvement with the recruitment process including liaising with agencies and line managers.
• The preparation and processing of CI and UK payroll and pension and the associated reporting.
• Building and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders and external parties/suppliers.
• The administration and monitoring of internal and external training.
• Provide initial first day induction training to all new employees.
• General administration of Human Resources policies and practice.
• Reviewing and updating policies and procedures when required and ensure there is the consistent application of such policies and procedures.
• The management of employee workspaces, ensuring data is retained correctly.
• HR projects as and when required.
