CI Platform Support Officer - Guerney

We are looking for an Officer to provide business support and implementation of key strategic platform initiatives and projects within the Channel Islands, UK and Mauritius.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all issues raised by the business are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Acting as a liaison between the Business Applications Management team and the business; translating business requirements into viable specifications.
• Writing and executing test plans for test development changes and upgrades, rolling out training to the business, as required.
• Identifying and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk.
• Maximising operational efficiency.
• Ensuring good internal communication lines are maintained with all departments.

Your qualifications and skills:

• Excellent IT skills.
• Five years' experience in a related business/technical analysis and/or change management role.

Lending Specialist (Underwriting)

This role would ideally suit a candidate with good lending experience that is looking to join an organisation where there is plenty of opportunity to progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a busy front office lending team 
• Meeting clients, answering queries and reviewing mortgage and loan applications within agreed SLAs (either via email or telephone) and delivering exceptional client service.
• Acting as both an internal and external credit advisor assessing client structures and devising client centric solutions
• Reviewing and renewing existing loan facilities
• Presenting cases at the bank’s credit committee
• Assisting other Lending Officers in the approval and conclusion of the facilities they underwrite
• Working with other departments including Credit Risk & Credit Ops to ensure credit facilities remain within our defined risk strategy and ensuring that risk culture is built into all new product design, case submission and portfolio review

Account Manager, Private Clients (6-month contract)

We are looking for a temporary team member for our Client Service team, to be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a book of private clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking day-to-day existing client service and working closely with the Relationship Manager (RM) to coordinate the onboarding of new clients
• Receiving and processing instructions from clients (including payments, security trades, foreign exchanges, Notice and Fixed deposits, corporate actions and static data changes), coordinating with other departments as required, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken
• Identifying opportunities to cross and up sell the Bank’s products and services, working with the RM to convert these leads and record them in the appropriate database
• Communicating with clients daily, handling general enquiries.
• Assisting clients with online banking setup and enquiries
• Assisting other team members during busy times

Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a new team member to provide day-to-day support for NavOne and Management Information (MI) across our Group Trust locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and creating Management Information (MI) using Power BI, SSRS, Alteryx, and other available tools. Identifying opportunities for technology-led solutions that enhance operational and process efficiencies within existing practices. Scoping, designing, building, and deploying MI and reporting solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders and, where necessary, external vendors.
• Direct responsibility for creating and supporting all Group Trust sites, but specifically the Cayman & Bahamas offices with regulatory data requirement for returns and risk and compliance reporting.
• Acting as Group Trust NavOne Subject Matter Expert, sittuing on the Group Technical User Committee.
• Supporting all jurisdictions with data requirement and Risk/Compliance reports for various group committees and boards.
• Assisting with the build-out of, or the application of fixes, enhancements, or new system capabilities.
• Undertaking any operational-orientated projects as assigned; acting as technical resource and project lead as appropriate.
• Undertaking user assistance/help with usage/settings issues and bug resolution both on NavOne and other MI reporting or NavOne-related platforms.
• Providing end-user support and assisting with occasional training relating to new functions and upgrade deployment.

 Your qualifications and skills include:

• Extensive and current knowledge of and an ability to scope, design, build, and maintain data workflows, Mi, ad-hoc data requests, and reporting using SSRS, Power Bi, Alteryx.
• Knowledge of Quantios NavOne or MS Business Central - MS Dynamics, or experience supporting a similar CRM system.

Company Secretary Officer - Guernsey

We are looking for a new team member to provide company secretarial services to the Relationship Management teams for client companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Client company Guernsey Registry submissions and filings to include incorporations, Guernsey Annual Validations and statutory filings (to include Audit Waiver and AGM monitoring).
• Maintaining registered office board.
• Updating Butterfield Trust (Guernsey) Limited’s (BTGL) core database, Navision, in respect of Company Secretarial information, including Company registers.
• Dealing with other agents in respect of BTGL’s client companies.
• Assisting with the filing and maintenance of Guernsey Beneficial Ownership Registers, helping the Relationship Managers (RM) in terms of their familiarity of the regime.
• Assisting the RMs in dealing with any queries concerning their client companies (incorporated in Guernsey and elsewhere) to include liquidations, incorporations and any other day-to-day company-focused activities.
• Arranging and overseeing the timely completion of any economic substance reporting in the form of Guernsey tax returns and notifications into other jurisdictions.

We are looking for a CSE to provide support to the Custody team and assist in the servicing of clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with day-to-day client service.

• Communicating with clients to resolve queries, carrying out call backs and arranging online banking activations.
