Profile of Role Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, the Senior Direct Marketing (DM) executive is a key member of the Retention team who are responsible for instigating a communications program through print and email that increases customer loyalty and promotes customer retention across the Healthspan portfolio of brands. This role will suit an individual who is keen to develop their career in marketing. The candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be able to multitask and work to deadlines. Key Tasks & Responsibilities • Support the DM team in delivering continuous improvement of our DM activity to active and lapsed customers through a test and learn approach, working with the Direct Marketing Manager to evolve our DM capabilities to increase relevance & personalisation
o KPIs: DM response rates (%), Customer retention rates (%), No. of subscription sign ups, Lapsed DM response rates (%), No. of lapsed customers reactivated
Campaign planning and coordination • Work with the DM team and internal stakeholders to create monthly Direct Mail campaign assets across the Healthspan portfolio of brands: Vitamins minerals & supplements, VetVits and Elite
o Develop Direct Mail briefs across a range of assets including copy & imagery requirements o Provide feedback via our online review platform o Proof and sign off with a focus on accuracy and grammar
• Manage the coordination of printed artwork ensuring all deadlines are coordinated, with assets delivered to mailing houses to meet enclosing and delivery deadlines • Manage data delivery deadlines across all mailing houses ensuring data transfer is compliant with GDPR • Assist in the delivery of personalised content working with the DM team and the data specialists • Call Centre liaison, providing the call centre with information regarding upcoming campaigns and promotions and setting up monthly inbound messages Market and results analysis • Assist in producing and analysing monthly results documents to measure campaign effectiveness and develop insights for future planning Print Buying • Negotiate with print suppliers to obtain best price estimates, selecting and confirming campaign assets with preferred partners within the print marketing budget • Explore new format opportunities to increase customer engagement Marketing administration • Set up and test all DM offer codes on and off-line before campaigns go live and manage Call Centre code queries Other • Participate in marketing projects where required • Proactively exploring new opportunities and best practise to ensure best in class Direct Mail campaigns are delivered with a focus on harnessing new technology such as Generative AI to deliver improved efficiencies and customer relevance

Personal Specification • 2 -3 years previous experience in a marketing role • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to multi-task, excellent time-management and organisational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Team player who is accountable, proactive and driven • Excellent computer literacy • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
