• Help GF hit its mission: ‘to promote and connect Guernsey as a leading finance centre in its chosen markets.’ • Maximise marketing opportunities across all available channels and platforms, to increase GF’s digital
footprint and reach. • Continuous improvement across all marketing, through programmes of ‘test and learn’.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 5 – 10 years of relevant Marketing experience • 3 – 5 years of management/leadership experience • Level 6/7 CIM Qualification or Marketing degree • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies. • A strong knowledge and detailed understanding of approaches to marketing strategy, channel management
and optimisation, processes, and reporting. • Experience of using relevant marketing tools (such as CMS, CRM, E-mail and others) to deliver campaigns. • The ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams and FTEs simultaneously, in line with business
objectives. • To work well self-sufficiently but also be an active and positive part of a management team. • A hard-working ethos, with a hunger to learn and develop. • Work in line with the overall agency values whilst representing your role at Guernsey Finance appropriately
internally and externally. • Be available to travel on behalf of the company as required.
Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Execution Define and implement the annual marketing strategy for Guernsey’s finance industry on behalf of Guernsey Finance and its primary stakeholders, in line with the strategic jurisdictional objectives. Team Leadership Manage and mentor junior marketing staff. Foster a collaborative and creative team environment that encourages professional growth and innovation. Digital Marketing Lead all digital marketing efforts, including website management, email marketing, SEO/GEO, and social media. Utilise data analytics to optimise performance and report on key metrics. Digital Advertising Lead all digital advertising efforts, including social media advertising campaigns and Google advertising campaigns. Utilize data analytics to optimise performance and report on key metrics.
Traditional Advertising Plan, execute and oversee traditional advertising campaigns across print, outdoor and broadcast channels. Coordinate high-impact initiatives such as OOH (Out-of-Home) campaigns in the London Underground, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives and brand strategy.
Reporting & Presenting Analyse marketing performance data and generate comprehensive reports. Present insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring data-driven decision-making and alignment with strategic objectives. Brand Management Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all platforms. Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring they reflect Guernsey Finance’s values and strategic objectives. Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with industry partners, government bodies, and internal teams to promote Guernsey's financial services. Build and maintain strong relationships with media and other key stakeholders. Market Research Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges. Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making. Personal Development Keep up to date with developments in digital marketing tactics and advances in technology, bringing these into the business when appropriate.
