Junior Analyst, Fiduciary Investment Review - Guernsey

We are looking for a Junior Analyst to assist the Fiduciary Investment Review team with oversight of performance and risk in relation to client investment portfolios across all Group Trust locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking a number of internal portfolio reviews against market benchmark and peer group
• Assisting the team with the management of any external service providers through prompt delivery of information and documentation
• Maintaining and where applicable remediating portfolio-related data within the core administration systems
• Undertaking research on client counterparty credit ratings and risk
• Downloading data from current business intelligence systems and reworking and preparing this according to the requirements of different stakeholders
• Attending meetings of the Fiduciary Investment Committee in various jurisdictions and taking minutes where necessary
• Liaising with internal employees and external parties on matters relating to client investment performance and risk.

Your qualifications and skills include:

• Excellent IT user skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and confidence in application of statistical analysis
• Competent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work accurately, with good attention to detail
• Capacity to work independently on multiple concurrent projects
• A broad interest in the investment market and portfolio management
• Capability to find most efficient way to sort and report data and navigate around the core administration systems
• Readiness to independently review investment-related matters using all tools available
• Ability to review data and recognise trends, discrepancies, outliers and gaps
• Willingness to review corporate documents and identify information relevant to the fiduciary investment review operation
• Education to degree level is preferred, but not essential
• An academic leaning towards mathematical, statistical, accounting, economic or business-related disciplines would be advantageous.

Trainee Private Client Administrator - Guernsey

Job Title: Trainee Private Client Administrator 
Reports to: Private Client Senior Manager

The candidate will have the opportunity to study towards a professional qualification and will assist with the day-to-day administration of our private clients under the direction of a manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with all aspects of the administration of our private clients (including Trusts, Companies and Foundation). 
• Assist with the processing operations including, inputting payments, preparing receipt packs and processing client changes. 
• Assist with the maintenance of client and entity records in the relevant systems. 
• Assist with company secretarial matters including preparation of minutes, transaction packs and reports. 
• Assist with other ad-hoc client requests or other duties as required by the team, including project work. 

Personal attributes: 

• Strong organisation and communication skills are key.

• A desire to learn and commitment to studies is required and will be supported as part of the trainee programme. 

Qualifications and expertise:

ADMINISTRATOR – EMPLOYER SOLUTIONS - GUERNSEY

PURPOSE OF JOB

This administrator will report into the Senior Administrator within the Employer Solutions Team. The team deals with all aspects of trusteeship and administration relating to (but not limited to) Employee Incentive Arrangements, Employee Benefit Trust Administration, Share Plans, Nominee Arrangements and Client Relationship Management.

The role holder will be responsible for the administration of Employee Benefit Trusts that contain FTSE listed and Private Clients. You will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and timely administration of documents, instructions and other associated paperwork.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Administer and monitor a varied portfolio of Trust, Company and Nominee arrangements. Ensure a professional service is provided to clients and intermediaries.
• Document trustee decision making and preparation of instructions in relation to exercises for the Trusts.
• Liaison with 3rd party administrators ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements Arranging payments and invoice /trade settlements.
• Collaboration with internal teams to service clients.
• Correspondence with clients, bankers, custodians, brokers, registrars, legal advisors, tax advisors and other intermediaries.
• Assisting with the Client Periodic Reviews.
• Ensuring careful consideration is given to all communications made externally – standard JTC format to be applied.
• Ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and is accurate.
• Assisting in ad-hoc project work and new client take on — any project deadline will need to be met along with daily workloads.
• Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML, TF & PF legislation.

We are looking for an Assistant Trust Officer to join our Trust team. You will assist team members by administering a portfolio of Trust & Corporate clients while building relationships and ensuring the highest quality day-today service is provided.

• Routine administration for clients
• Accurately actioning client banking instructions
• Ensuring that chargeable time is properly recorded against clients and invoices for the team are raised in a timely fashion
