Job Description
We are working with a leading professional services firm to find a capable and personable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of their Guernsey office. This is a vital role within a collaborative support team, combining front-of-house duties with a broad mix of facilities and administrative support responsibilities.
You'll be the first point of contact for staff, clients, and visitors, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations, and would suit someone who is proactive, professional, and enjoys working in a varied, people-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception desk and switchboard, handling calls across multiple locations with professionalism and accuracy
- Welcome and assist visitors, issuing badges and maintaining logs including receiving and distribute mail from couriers, and hand deliveries
- Support facilities – ensure meeting rooms and shared spaces are tidy, stocked, and client-ready
- Provide general admin assistance to various teams (printing packs, booking taxis, logging emails, supporting events)
You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills together with a strong organisational ability and attention to detail. Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital tools (Teams, Nimbus) and a helpful, can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure
