A leading professional services firm is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations for its Cayman office.
This is a high-impact, on-the-ground leadership role—balancing robust financial control with pace and responsiveness in a busy, client-driven environment, including a key partnership with the Real Estate team on completion processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the Cayman finance function end-to-end (billing, credit control, cashiering, bank recs, AP, client payments, expenses), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong internal controls
- Partner with the Real Estate team on completions, ensuring monies are received, reconciled and disbursed flawlessly within tight deadlines, with controlled client money handling and prompt billing/bookkeeping
- Drive performance and cashflow discipline through reviews of Aged WIP, Aged Debt and matter balances, working with Partners to reduce lock-up and embed positive financial behaviours
- Strengthen processes and compliance—improving workflows, aligning with the central finance team, supporting audits/investigations, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and professional rules (including AML/client accounting requirements)
You will be professionally qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent experience) with proven finance management experience—ideally in a law firm or professional services setting. You’ll bring strong Cayman finance operations knowledge, excellent Excel capability, and the confidence to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
