Stenham Trustees Limited has over 35 years of experience in the Channel Islands, in assisting international clients in both the establishment and administration of a comprehensive range of onshore and offshore structures.
Main Purpose of Job
The onboarding team is generally the first interactive point of contact the office has with new clients to be considered for onboarding by the Stenham Cannon Group. The onboarding process is comprehensive, in that it covers all aspects from start to finish relating to the onboarding of the client, the establishment of a trust and/or the incorporation of a company for the client as well as the submitting of bank account applications for the entities created as described above.

An integral part of the onboarding process is the liaising with approved global introducers of the business, such as other financial services companies in various jurisdictions, but also with the clients directly, in order to obtain enough information to be able to decide if the prospective client’s business falls into the risk appetite of the Group. The same applies to liaising with banks in order to comply with their onboarding requirements when opening bank accounts for the entities. Key Responsibilities • Reviewing documentation received from the potential clients, compiling query sheets
and liaising directly with clients and introducers.

• Finalising the onboarding procedures in line with checklists.
• Communicating with other role-players such as introducers and ensuring that all
documentation, information and replies to queries received are satisfactory and
compliant with legislation/regulations and internal manuals, policies and procedures.
• Carrying out online compliance checks
• Completing risk profiles, risk reviews, checklists & minutes for new business
onboarding and committee meetings.
• Setting up trusts and preparing related documents
• Incorporating new companies and preparing related documents
• Preparing bank applications
• Using and updating the Group’s in-house database, including maintaining share and
other registers.
• Liaising with other financial services providers to facilitate the transfer of assets or
pour over of assets from a previous structure.
• Preparing invoices for the formation and annual fees

Skills, Competencies & Experience • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Administrator working in other
financial services companies, specifically relating to the onboarding of potential new
business
• No formal qualification is necessary, however, studying towards or having
qualifications is an advantage
• A good working knowledge of the GFSC Handbook, AML/CFT/CPWMD legislation
and regulations including Guernsey Trust & Company Law is required
• Proficiency in MS Office packages particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent written, verbal communication and administrative skills which include
attention to detail and accuracy are required
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
• Confidence to liaise with internal and external contacts
Terms & Conditions: Salary: Competitive and dependant on experience Hours: 09:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch Holiday: 25 days per annum, increasing to 26 days after three years, 28 days after
