Are you a recently qualified accountant with an interest in working in the unique area of Venture Capital?

A boutique company specializing in funds services and venture capital is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Guernsey team.

Reporting to the Fund Accounting Manager, you will undertake, bookkeeping, accounting and reporting for a single portfolio of active venture capital funds while providing support for other accountants/fund administrators. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing/reviewing call and distribution notices and sending notices to investors
• Bookkeeping of all transactions, bank and custody reconciliations
• Preparing all quarterly and annual reports to investors within deadlines
• Liaising and providing information to tax advisors for the preparation of annual tax reporting for investors

The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified with prior relevant experience in a financial institution.

To be effective in this role, it is expected that you'll work accurately under pressure, pay close attention to detail and possess advanced Excel skills.
