Our client, an award-winning commercial business with its headquarters in Guernsey, is seeking a detail oriented Assistant Management Accountant.

Responsibilities include:

• Support internal (sales reports, dept reports, bi-weekly reporting) and external reporting (e.g. VAT return preparation) and support with Finance Operations month end journals.
• Lead on audit fieldwork, co-ordinate with auditors and pass information to them with support from Financial Controller/Senior Finance Manager
• Be an escalation point for issues pertaining to Finance Operations and act as cover for Credit Controller, Accounts Payable and Accounts Administration
• Support the drive to improve processes for Credit Cards and expenses

You will have had experience in a similar role and have working knowledge of general ledger systems and a proficiency in Excel.
