Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant for our valued client - a growing funds business - in their Jersey or UK Offices.

You will be a dynamic and motivated accountant who is comfortable operating in a client facing environment and has experience within funds administration, such as private equity.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing financial transactions processed by bookkeepers as well as bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Working closely with other service providers (eg auditors, tax advisors and lawyers) such as supporting the tax advisor with the preparation and review of VAT and corporate tax returns.
• Working closely with manager on planning and resource allocation to meet the team’s agreed deliverables
• Providing training and support of junior members of the team

Together with hands on experience in delivering high quality external reporting and technical accounting experience for Private Capital Funds you will have excellent communication skills at all levels and thrive under pressure in order to achieve deadlines.
