A long-established provider of fiduciary, corporate and wealth management services, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Guernsey-based team. 

This role offers the chance to combine technical accounting expertise with team leadership, regulatory compliance and process improvement within a growing and dynamic fiduciary environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and management reporting for a substantial portfolio of trust and corporate structures.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members, including performance management and support with professional growth.
• Assisting with external audits, regulatory reporting and ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and relevant fiduciary regulations.
• Investigating accounting queries, resolving discrepancies and supporting business improvement projects and governance initiatives.

You will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years' experience within the trust, fiduciary or private wealth sector - ideally with supervisory/mentoring experience. Together with strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, including IFRS and UK GAAP, alongside practical experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax compliance matters.
