One of our key clients - a well-established financial services business - is seeking a Senior Administrator to join its Insurance Management team in Guernsey and provide accounting, financial reporting and treasury services to a portfolio of regulated insurance clients.

This client facing role is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional to apply their technical expertise within an insurance environment, develop specialist industry knowledge and join a supportive team with a genuinely rewarding working culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, maintaining accurate ledgers and processing journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Completing bank, premium, claims and balance sheet reconciliations, while accounting for premiums, commissions, claims and reinsurance transactions.
• Managing cash movements, processing payments and monitoring cashflow across a portfolio of regulated insurance clients.
• Supporting statutory financial statements, annual audits, regulatory reporting and the preparation of financial information for clients, boards and other stakeholders.

You should have a strong numerical and accounts background, supported by an accounting qualification - ideally within an insurance setting, although candidates with strong financial accounting and reporting experience from another financial services environment will be considered.
