Are you a self-motivated and driven individual who is looking to embark on a career in financial services?

Our client is looking for a Trainee Fund Accountant to join their supportive, knowledgeable Venture Capital team.

Working under a Fund Accounting Manager, you will undertake bookkeeping, accounting and reporting for a portfolio of active Venture Capital funds and provide accurate, well-presented client deliverables.

• Call and distribution notices, including sending these notices to investors
• Performing bank reconciliations and bookkeeping of all transactions in a timely manner, including ownership of the ledgers
• Producing and distributing quarterly/ monthly unaudited management accounts and annual audited accounts in accordance with IFRS /  FRS102
• Liaising and providing information to tax advisors for the preparation of annual tax reporting

Full on-the-job training will be provided along with the opportunity to study towards a professional accounting qualification. 

You'll also gain exposure to both the fund administration and fund accounting functions of the business to gain a thorough understanding of how the company operates.
