Our client, a well-established trust company, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team in Guernsey. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the business maintains a strong compliance framework while meeting all local and international regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise within the fiduciary or financial services sector, alongside the ability to guide and influence stakeholders at all levels.
This opportunity is offered on a permanent or contract basis, giving flexibility to the right professional.
Responsibilities include:

Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures in line with GFSC and international regulations.

Acting as a subject matter expert, advising management and staff on compliance matters.

Leading regulatory reporting, audits, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to legal requirements.

Overseeing client onboarding, due diligence (CDD) processes, and compliance sign-off for new business.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ compliance experience in fiduciary, trust, or financial services, strong knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory framework, and an ICA or equivalent qualification. Exceptional communication, organisational, and analytical skills are essential.
