Job Description

One of our key clients is seeking several Senior Fund Accountants to join its specialist Fund of Funds team in Guernsey. These opportunities would suit experienced fund accountants or qualified auditors with strong knowledge of funds and fund structures who are ready to develop their careers within a supportive, highly social and forward-thinking organisation.

Working with one of the business’s largest institutional clients, you will take an active role in the accounting and administration of private equity, real estate and fund of funds structures, producing high-quality financial and investor reporting throughout the fund lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering a varied portfolio of private equity, real estate and fund of funds structures, including coordinating capital calls, distributions, investor changes and transfers.
  • Producing and reviewing monthly and quarterly reporting, including NAV packs, management accounts, cash-flow reports, investor capital accounts, unit holdings and investor fact sheets.
  • Supporting the preparation of annual audited financial statements, liaising with auditors and ensuring client deliverables and service-level requirements are met.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, investors and intermediaries, while reviewing work and supporting the ongoing development of junior team members.

You should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with 3+ years’ experience within fund accounting, fund administration or a closely related financial services environment - OR an auditor looking to move into industry - you should also have strong numerical and analytical skills and the confidence to communicate with with clients, investors, auditors and colleagues and build lasting professional relationships.
