We are working on an exciting opportunity with an Accountancy firm in Jamaica that is keen to onboard a top quality accounting professional in the role of Assurance Manager
Joining a high quality Assurance team with a a wide variety of clients, you will be in charge of executing a risk-based audit approach and providing key leadership of audit teams during client engagements.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating execution of internal audit engagements and analysing and identifying any improvements within the clients' business
- Lead, supervise and coach junior team members ensuring that an exceptional client service is delivered
- Reviewing working papers of team members on external audit engagements and preparing / presenting audit reports
- Conducting interviews with, and reporting to, senior personnel at clients
You will have at least a ACCA or CPA qualification and an undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (in an area of relevant study), together with at least 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
This role would suit someone who is a team builder with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise different tasks.
Relocation:
- Permits would range in duration of 1 - 3 years; the process and costs will be supported by the business
- Relocation support package
