We are seeking a proactive and experienced People Advisor to join the HR team of one of our key clients on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Based in Guernsey or Jersey, this role offers the opportunity to provide HR advisory services, support learning and development initiatives, and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
A hands-on HR role delivering advice, recruitment support, and employee development initiatives — ideal for a CIPD-qualified professional seeking a dynamic fixed-term opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR advice, supporting managers and employees on employment matters.
- Partnering with business leaders on recruitment, onboarding, and learning & development initiatives.
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues in line with policies.
- Supporting HR records management, employee engagement, and compliance with local employment laws.
You’ll be a confident, approachable, and solution-oriented HR professional with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion are essential. You should have a CIPD Level 5 accreditation or equivalent experience, along with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
