We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager with one of Guernsey’s key independent financial services providers.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and HR you would work on and contribute to to the coordination of the finance team’s activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Coach and develop junior staff, provide practical on the job training and support their needs with constructive feedback.
• Assist with the monthly and quarterly reporting packs, the Firm’s annual budget and annual financial statements across the offshore jurisdictions
• Assist the Finance Manager with the day to day finance functions of the Firm across jurisdictions.
• Identify deficiencies in work processes and procedures – while also encouraging others to do so - and identify improvements and solutions to these problems

You should have the knowledge and experience gained in a mid-level finance role and an ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent, together with effective performance management skills (including coaching, mentoring, and giving and receiving feedback)
