We are working on behalf of a well-respected financial services firm in Guernsey that is seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Officer to join their team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. The role offers flexible working hours (full or part-time) and the opportunity to take the lead on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and office operations.
This is a hands-on generalist role offering variety and autonomy. You’ll be at the heart of the business, supporting people, policies, and the practical day-to-day running of the office.
Responsibilities Include:

Leading the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process

Managing employee records, benefits administration, and offboarding

Supporting performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes

Overseeing office management and liaising with external suppliers and partners
You will be proactive and confident making independent decisions as well as highly organised with excellent attention to detail. You should also be discreet, trustworthy, and understand confidentiality
