Job Description

An ambitious and forward-thinking international business is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join its global Finance team in Jersey.

This influential role offers day-to-day ownership of complex credit control and collections activity, helping the business improve cash flow, manage working capital and minimise exposure to bad debt.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as the senior point of contact for high-value, aged and sensitive debts, resolving complex account queries and progressing collections through to conclusion.
• Leading regular credit control reviews with client leads and senior stakeholders, constructively challenging assumptions and ensuring agreed actions are completed.
• Preparing and presenting aged debt reports, cash collection updates and working capital analysis while identifying trends, risks and potential bad-debt exposure.
• Supporting the development of a commercially focused credit control policy, balancing strong client relationships with timely collection and regulatory requirements.

You will bring proven experience in credit control, collections and working-capital management gained within professional services or another complex environment, including exposure to large international clients. Together with your strong analytical skills you will also have experience in aged-debt reporting, debtor-risk assessment and performance monitoring.
