One of our key clients – a top tier accountancy firm - is seeking an Assistant Manager for their tax team in Guernsey.

This highly respected firm is open to considering individuals on island OR from overseas with a a relevant accounting or tax qualification.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients as well as undertaking ad hoc assignments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Researching and interpreting local and UK tax legislation.
• Meeting with and participating in the business development of existing clients.
• Liaising and negotiating with the local and UK revenue services on behalf of clients.
• Managing clients’ tax issues and advising them on appropriate strategies, including cross boarder matters.

You be qualified with a minimum of CAT/AAT or overseas equivalent and have 5+ years’ experience working in tax. Ideally you will also have good Guernsey Tax knowledge as well as strong cross boarder tax knowledge.
